What Does Peace Mean to Me?An activity to help build a positive and peaceful classroom environment. Students will listen to a read aloud with the theme of peace (suggest text included). The teacher will use questions provided to guide a classroom discussion about how being peaceful helps solve conflicts.

Afterwards, students will be presented with Peaceful Precepts and design and construct a 3-Dimensional Peace Sign to hang up in the classroom. The peace signs hanging from the ceiling will act as a reminder to choose peace when involved in a conflict.

Extension Writing Prompt also included for Early Finishers!

As always, this was created by a teacher and used with many students!
